Hikari Shinshu Miso, 400 g


Made by fermenting soy beans and rice, this White Miso is golden yellow in colour and has a mellow and slightly sweeter flavour than other miso varieties. Use to make hearty miso soup, or as a seasoning in stir fries, sauces, and marinades.


I use this particular Miso for my Miso Sesame and Truffle Oil Soups at the GreenZen Poké & Matcha Bar and the customers absolutely Love it!


Cooking Instructions


Use in soups, stews, marinades etc. Always add miso to soups and stews at the end, since boiling it destroys beneficial bacteria and causes it to curdle.
