Goma Wakame, 1kg
Goma Wakame is a Japanese salad classic! Absolutely packed with anti-oxidants and fiber and very very low in calories, 1 whole cup surmounting to just 140 calories! This is surely a summer favourite and the vibrant colours make for great photos.
I use this wakame at the GreenZen Poké & Matcha Bar by curling a small amount with chopsticks and dropping on the top of salads along side sashimi or Tofu. It is chewy and tastey, making the texture and taste compliment sashimi fish and the Tofu Poké
- Soak the wakame for 5-10 min then drain.
- Some people steam them and some people heat it up in a frying pan (on low so you don't brown it). I have only had mine cold.
- Mix remaining ingredients and pour over top YUM!
Ingredients: Seaweed (70%), agar agar, mushrooms, sugar, chili, sesame (1.8%), salt, marinade (sesame oil, Sojasauce (soybeans, wheat, salt, sugar), vinegar, water, colors: E133, E102).
